That guy has one of the most fantastic voices ever, I really wish he would be in one of the transformers considering he did alot of vocal work for the show.

He would do an excellent Rodimus.

I remember him. He was Prowl, and my favorite G1 character, Sideswipe. Love the guy. He has a great voice.

Man I forgot he did sideswipe as well! Those were the days, uh huh.

And no I didn't know he was even around!

I am one of those fans that got out of transformers after Beast Wars and didn't get back into it until the movie came out so I have missed transformers most of my adult life.

Man that would have been awesome. Many of my voice clips I do emulate a number of actors and voice actors to develop my own style and Bell is among my favorites.

He also did Scapper, Brainstorm, a nebulon, Bombshell and, on occasion, Kickback.

    There were others, too.

Speaking of which, I wish they finally busted some chops and made Legacy of Kain 6 already (if wishes were fishes...). I loved that series, especially Raziel. :(

He is also known for the voice of Duke, GI Joe's top kick as well as many other voices in that cartoon. Bell is quite simply a class act.

Mike's a real vet of VA... and having had the pleasure of meeting him at a con before, I'll say he's a pretty humble dude, too.

You couldn't watch a cartoon in the 80s and 90s not hear his voice.

He was Duke from GI Joe and Lance from Voltron!
I remember hearing him talk on 3's Company and I knew it was the "cartoon guy".

More recently, I remember hearing the shop keeper in Ninja Gaiden make random sounds and I knew it was his voice.

He did and didn't get it? What a shame. I always thought he had a good voice!

There is a forum out there that for a while was collecting interviews with the various voice actors, and Michael Bell was one of them. Its a hilarious interview, but NSFW as he does liberally swear (since Prowl is closest to his normal voice, it makes it doubly hilarious IMO). I don't have the URL, unfortunately, but I do have one of the files.
