Heres an example. When I was playing The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion I bought a house in Skingrad and then spent the next few hours taking all of my possessions from my house in Anvil and organizing everything according to use,how much I like the stuff and so forth. I couldn't sleep until I was done.I'm basically like that in real life too.Everything I own has to be in its place or I lose it.
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat after dreaming that I was with my platoon and they're all wounded and dying, and no matter what I do, it doesn't help them. All my bandages leak and my IVs come out. Then I usually stay up for the rest of the night staring at the ceiling with my mind racing.
I don't do that at the store, but I do that at home when it's not a nuisance to people waiting in line. I don't think it's weird; to me it's very practical. It makes it easier to pull out the right amount of cash.
Knives that are too close to the edge of a counter, or on top of something that could easily tilt are one of my biggest pet peeves. I'm not afraid of knives at all; I use them all the time, and I've had my share of accidental cuts. So yeah.
