I'll buy him cause I want a relatively in scale representation of the character and I wont buy the leader because I don't have the space or the money

I honestly have to say that I would have considered buying this version of Sentinel over the Leader if 2 things were different. 1) They didn't ruin his hose by making it the Mech-Tech weapon because it looks gawdy in vehicle mode, and 2) He didn't have a backpack that was wider than the main body.

I should also add in that it seems Hasbro is
playing off Sentinel's true agenda in the actual film itself. The Autobot logo on the back of the Voyager has a scratch right through it, kinda like the Decepticon logo on Leader Jetfire you know? He diverged from the 'Cons, so his insignia is scratched up, so the same can be applied to Sentinel here.

I'll rather get the leader version, the only reason I'll buy the voyager version is for the Mech-tech gun, and when it's on discount.

The only thing the voyager has that's better than the leader is a more movie accurate chest.

I already got the Leader, my only problem is, they are shrinking all the figures of late, I don't see them making Leaders of Shockwave or Megatron... With all these deluxes they are making(that were prior as Voyagers), makes ya wonder if they were tired of making Leaders? So, I will check out the reviews of the Voyager and debate. As far as scaling with the rest of the figures in the movie line, it's almost a no brainer.

Well, I heard some where that the reason Hasbro made no Leader class Decepticons was because they didn't sell as well as the Autobot Leaders. I'm not sure if thats exactly true, just what I had heard.

Characters haven't necessarily been busted down a size class, but existing characters in size classes have shrunk yes.

I don't believe Leader versions of Megatron or Shockwave are off the cards yet...they simply deferred to Autobots for the first three toys.

And look at the DOTM line-up. Very few Decepticons, unless you want to include repaints.

You know, so long as we are discussing Voyager toys, and since I made this thread, I got another question.

Does anyone think the DOTm Megatron could have used a bit more in the mid-section?

From what I can tell from CGI renders of him, Megatron retains a robot form thats completely identical to that of his ROTF robot form.

I might. If mentioned, the gun that he uses in the movie looks like the gun he comes with, that will help.

I have zero interest in Leader SP.

I will probably get the Leader eventually if my finances permit, but that is not a guarantee (got him 2 months back, but sold him off because a friend really wanted him and could not wait). But as far as a I can see from Peaugh's reviews, Voyager Sentinel Prime would need more color as the face looks very bland. Good for touch ups. As you can see from my post, probably I will get the Voyager, since I liked the DOTM Voyager Prime so much, I want them to be in scale (sorta).
