Never heard of the Dinobot combiner.

 

My point is if you like it or not Hasbro gave the OK to do it...And everything that Hasbro does wrong is up for debate??? Man I wouldn't even waste my time on most of the problems they have I do have a life....And the concept of a Dino Combiner is NOT bad but this version looks horrible...

 

The only reason to have a toy like this would be to have it with a Legends Movie 2 Devastator, ripped in half, with a repeating menacing laughter noise for effect. And yes, everyone should fear it.

I agree it looked like arse, but I don't think the concept is good either. I like that the Dinobots are badass enough to not need a combined mode.

 

Imagine how yawnsome it would've been all those times the Dinobots went up against Devastator if they'd combined to fight him. It would just be two robots fighting, but on a larger scale. I can see two robots fighting in pretty much any TF media. Not as much fun as one big robot against five smaller robot dinosaurs.

 

Also it does not really work as an idea.

from a story POV If they could combine all along why not do it before? If its so out of control and bat shit insane why did wheel jack give them the ability to combine? If you follow cartoon continuity Swoop and sludge were made after the other 3 in order to bring them into line so when did they get the combiner ability? Why does the combiner mode look like such a mess with stretched out and torn metal?

Clearly much like the origins of the dino/dyno bots theirs a lot of stuff that can just be ignored or is contradictory and considering how this comic does not really fit into any continuity (as you would then have to totally ignore TF:Zone that also had the deaths of many of the con combiners) it might as well stay as a freebie comic.

I thought it was pretty simple...OK let me SLOW IT down...Hasbro can do whatver they want with THE PROPERTY THEY OWN...Why are people spending WAY too much time complaining about it? If you don't like it fine I don't and you don't see me posting about everything that I don't like about a property...I wouldn't waste my time complaining about it because:

#1 Nothing is going to change

#2 Life goes on (At least with me it will)

If a person's life is revolved around how a character is portrayed in a comic book,video game etc. then I feel they need something else in their life because that is just silly....

Usually people talk about more than one thing...especially since some subject's only get people pulling out the "hate" card and get people to start flaming...

You can see it in the post counts of SOME people that are here ALL the time...

there's nothing good about the beast. I couldnt make the beast better. no one could. the very basis of the idea is horrible, and so is the person who had the idea, and all people who assisted getting that idea published.

Even tho I haven't read it, I fail to see how it's canon. It was published. But did it affect the outcome of any series?

You know which Dinobots that I didn't like? The Maximum Dinobots (Dynobots). Those things looked effing stupid- esp. Swoop.

Someone starts a thread about The Beast. A few of us say that we consider both the idea and the execution awfully stupid.

And then you claim that we ONLY ever talk about The Beast and nothing else? That we have nothing better to do than complaining about it all day? That's just... WTF? I can point you to thousands of posts of mine that have nothing to do at all with The Beast.
