tbh, i haven't seen that movie yet. Still, I'd like to see the F35 in rotf first...then see DH4 afterwards.

    Stratosphere - Transformers Wiki

I didn't know this and now I do, those damn cargo planes used to fly over my house every damn summer day! :banghead:

Stratosphere could be what Prime drives out of when he enters the military facility, coz it does say he's involved in the ROTF continuity.

He's part of the continuity because he's in the toyline, not the movie. He's most likely gonna be a Longarm/Landmine character. Vehicle in the movie, robot in the toyline.

I don't mind thaaat much, but I'd love to see a Autobot/Decepticon mid-flight battle in the 3rd movie, or in this one, who knows?

I understand the movie vehicle mode/ toy robot mode, but why make a toy for a movie if it doesn't even have an appearance?

We will see, but for now I'm going to believe he might just be in vehicle mode the whole time. It'd be cool if he transformed at least once though . . . :popcorn

He does have an appearance. Stratosphere is the cargo plane carrying around Optimus Prime, seen in a released photo, the Comic Adaptation preview pages, and the TV trailer. He just happens not to be a Transformer in the film. (Probably)

Breakaway on the other hand is in the videogame. Springer... well, now that's a good question. If all it was is making a toy of the Osprey V-22 they could have slapped a new paintjob on Incinerator. Chin-strokingly intriguing.

So from what you say, what I've been speculating maybe right, the autobots get around continents via Stratosphere.

I'm still hoping he transforms at least once . . .

He might talk in the movie, and MAYBE transform, but he's not on the list of confirmed Autobots.

Jetfire seems to be enough for air support, and he's the only confirmed flying Autobot in the movie.

When your team name is the Autobots, flying guys just feel weird. (even the movie's clever long version of "Autobots" doesn't help)

If you've read the ' Reign of Starscream' comic prequel to the ROTF you'd know of a few Autobot flyers on Cybertron namely Air Raid ( deceased - killed by Starscream on Mars), Wingblade & Skyblast. Those 2 are freakin' huge!

doesn't bother me , the autobots have always been primarily ground pounders, with some having limited flight capability (Sideswipe in G1) and later a few true fliers came in Springer, the Aeriabots, Skyfire/jetfire, Powerglide, Swoop, Omega Supreme and perhaps a couple more i have forgotten and more came with other version of the Transformers but always the ground pounders were in the majority, fact is the ground bound Autobots have always out numbered the flight capable ones by a large margin
