Please i need help bad could somebody give me some advice.
What image editing software do you use?
I honestly dont know.
You could use photoshop
Well virtually any image editing software has a text tool. It's really as simple as opening up the image in Paint or something and using the text tool to type something in. Now, if you want something more complicated....
There lies the first problem.
How old are you?
Indeed. Paint is simple enough for adding text to an image, even if the results aren't fantastic in my opinion (or maybe my copy of Paint is just a crappy one). I'm sure there are many free programs out there which can do better if the OP wants to search one out. I don't know any myself because I've never had the need to look, but I'm sure someone else can recommend a decent one for the job the OP wants to do.
Personally though I always use CorelDraw for that kind of thing. I've had that software for over ten years and I'm too old and stubborn to change to something else. It's nice for adding panel lines and speech bubbles to stuff when I make comics and having the picture on one level, the bubble on another and the text on another.
Or just making silly things like this:
I use meme generating sites or microsoft paint
The GIMP is free, and there's a variant called GIMP Shop that has a UI more familiar to Photoshop users.
Both GIMP and Photoshop have a Text tool to add on top of images you open up in them.
