I just came across these on ebay. they look awesome, and I love dinosaurs. I remember passing on them when they first came out, but was looking for some feedback/pics if anyone has any.

Yeah, the toys were pretty cool and the only figure I have is the dragon. I wanted to buy more of them but decided not to as I had other things on my plate.

The feedback on the quality of the toys varies and I've heard US fans complaining that the QC on the US releases were very bad with - breakages etc.

My Dinozone toy was a Japanese release and the quality of my toy is good, very durable and if I "twist" him the wrong way while transforming him, the joints pop out and I simply pop the loose joint back in.

My only complaint about my Dinozone figure is that the alternate mode - the dragon wasn't well designed (flimsy) as compared to the ither figures. I wish I could take pictures but er, he's somewhere in my house (storage) and I have no idea where he is...

i don't want to search for it. but, basically what i've decided for myself is that while they LOOK great, the chrome really bugged me with how much they used, and how easy chrome is pronded to break. i just basically decided to wait to see if they ever become cheap enough, and then i'll try one.

while they all LOOK great, they just look to breakable.

I've got a few. They're all right, nothing to write home about really. They are flimsy IMHO, but not too fragile.

I've got both deluxe Dragons (Gigano with the wings and Draconis), as well as the Triceratops, Pteradactyl, Stegosaurus, and Mammoth. The latter aren't much to speak of really.

you know, that was almost going to be my first choice before posting this thread. I was like, "I bet CM has some" duh, of COURSE HE DOES! although I can see why I passed on em. they've got rad dinosaur modes (and I'm a sucker for shiny things) but the bot modes suck.

    Dinozone Transformers

I ran across an auction for these different Dinozone Dinosaur Transformer figures. Had never seen or heard of them. Thought they were pretty cool looking! Not the best quality or articulation, but acceptable. Had purchased a DE-1 Giganodragon figure, but they said it was out of stock! Waiting to get one when they are back in stock!

    That's a pretty good assessment! Very easy 1,2, 3 and they're transformed!

Interesting, those are color variations from the US Dinozaurs.

Those particular figures are actually different characters. The ones you're probably thinking of are the standard characters, DinoTyranno etc. These are their evil twins. I think they were actually released here in the US as well, but with different names (Drago Elephas, Drago Ceratops, Drago Dactyl, etc.). Bit of a shameful way to double the size of the toyline, that's for sure.
