Customs: anybody have a trick for removing acrylic paint without removing factory paint?

    i messed up a little and painted white acrylic over factory paint i want to remove the white without removing the factory paint undernieth, because i was using the factory paint for a stripe. :)

    only thing you CAN do is simply be very very very careful. Use cotton swabs you dip in isoprypyll alcohol, and keep a dry paper towell handy, within reach. rub the spot you're removing paint from, and don't allow it to have alochol on it for more than a few seconds at a time, and wipe it dry with the paper towel. keep repeating this carefully until your goal is accomplished. More than likely, however, you'll end up needing to touch-up the underlying paint.
