I got it at BotCon. It's indeed a bit lacking in content, and Megatron's head is the old version, but the pictures are nice and big.
Also only 3 out of six allspark faces.

Furman is covering himself for the "updated" version!
Mines in the post and should arrive tomorrow, but the online listing had a different cover to that PRIME one.

So has mine... what was I thinking.
Oh, right, 6 faces, but it only shows how 3 of them are positioned, that's it.

Yup, have it... sorely missing Ironhide in it, but lots of good fanfic ideas coming out of it. Pictures are lovely, too.

One of the coolest movie books I saw with some great art was this childrens "tri-flip" thing where each page had three sections and you could mix and match robot parts.

Got mine today. While it's nicely presented, it's awefully sparse. As well as missing out cast members, we get very little on the ones that are included. Compared to the Visual Dictionaries" for the likes of the Star Wars movies, this is a disappontment.

An interesting snippet on the ALLSPARK from Furman though:
"The Allspark regulated the vast currents deep beneath the surface of Cybertron, and the planet thrived and prospered".

So that seems to answer the "evil baby robot" complaint (and echoes Orci's conetion answer): Used as a power source for the planet as a whole keeps it's power in check and maybe new life can be created in a more controlled way.
Once free of such constraints, the power runs wild and creates mad machine life (which is what MEGATRON wants!)
