Hey guys, I recently opened a few figures and found hairline cracks in the chrome. Is there a way to prevent the chrome from getting worse or is it just inevitable? Any help is appreciated!

My guess would be to try to seal it with a topcoat of some sort. A durable clear coat.

I would think the same thing. Let me suggest Future clear acrylic floor polish. Yes, it sounds silly, but modellers have been using it for years as a durable, glossy topcoat.
