So i was thinking i need to find people who live in va who are Transformers fans because i need more friends in VA so a get together would be awesome i am in Lynchburg!

 

I tried doing a meet up a few years back, and only had about 6 showed up. the problem is that the state is so large and most people do not want to travel just for a meet up

 

Or don't have time/transportation.

I'm in Arlington... But I don't have a car to drive anywhere. God bless the DC Metro system

Enh. Not much into the idea of driving somewhere anyways. It's hard enough to get away from work just for down time...

There was a small group in the Northern VA/DC metro area, but that was probably like 6 years ago. We had 5 or 6 people get together once or twice. It was nice to meet a few people, but not sure I'd bother again.

Botcon is the get together worth going to.

 

I think it could be fun if enough people were interested. I'm in Arlington but have the same issue as BraveMax.

 

well that sucks our state is pretty damn big and we do all seem to live really far from each other.

 

Well - for those of us in Arlington/the DC metro area, it might be good to start up again. If nothing else, we can keep an eye out for toys for one another and hand-off at meet-ups.

Any time before 6PM on weekdays is usually fine for me.

Yup.  

Plus I barely get to see my wife during the week so weekends are usually reserved for her.
