I have a USP .40 full size. I don't get to the range as often as I'd like, but when I have time I do enjoy shooting. One of the things I miss from the Marines.

    Any other shooters here?

I do mainly rifle and shotgun. I need to get my pigeons and thrower back from my bro-in-law. I also have a 30-06 which is fun to shoot, as long as there is room.

While I'm not a big gun shooter, I do love the bow. I really never got used to guns. Yet, I had no problem shooting my cat with various nerf guns...weird....

But lately I've been shooting quite a lot. Just sorta getting the feel of a gun again.

Hit the range every coupla months on my own just to stay proficient with my personal pistol, a Glock 23 (.40 cal midsize w/ a M6 tac-light/laser). Also trying to get my wife more comfortable at the same time, starting her off with a w/ a High Standard .22 Long Rifle. It's slow going.

Other than that, do the M4 and M9 qualifying a once or twice a years--work stuff, sorta like you.

I got a H&K MP5-A5J Submachine gun, along with a Sig Sauer SP2022 pistol as my sidearm.

They'll shoot a 6 mm plastic pellet at damn near 280 FPS.

I want to shoot a gun.

There is a range in town here and I wanted to go for my bachelor party...just for fun.

    Nice.

I fired a Glock once. It didn't agree with my grip, and the rear of the slide wore a nice little hole in my thumb. A USP is bigger, but it fits my hands better.

Boy, this thread has me missing my Army days! It is soo much fun to shoot, especially qualifying. Once, I got a little extra luck and shot 38/40 POT's (M16A2)

I was in a field artillery unit, so I got to fire all kinds of crap. Those were the days,

And while I have passed the state exam and all to carry, I don't keep any in the house...kids and all.

These days, I just point my Megatron around and go: pew, pew :lol
