Yeah, his legs look like shit... I'm HOPING there is something really wrong or undone in the transformation, which as we all know is actually extremely likely!

Definitely getting the deluxe, but will reserve claims to HA Soundwave upon better/different pics.

 

I will admit, I was dissapointed with how he looks. Kinda sums up the HA figures in general, though. For more pricey retail figures, only a couple have actually impressed me and are actually better then the smaller scale versions of the character they represent.

 

I'll admit the legs look really weird, but he wins out for having a movie-accurate Laserbeak, an actual human bad guy for a partner, kick-ass alt. mode (with gull-wing doors!), and a really nice upper body.

So that's 4.5 primary things that he beats the deluxe on. I can live with the legs if they can do the job of holding him up. I'd rather have odd but working legs instead of what we got with HA Sideswipe (who had the entire alt. mode on his back)

I think the legs look horrible on the HA version, but I will wait for reviews to see how he looks. I'm buying him regardless though

I've come to accept that people will like a toy no matter how bad it actually looks. This IS bad, people. The legs are awful. I'm NOT expecting 100% screen accuracy, but the legs look NOTHING like the CGI model. They're like ROTF Blazemaster and 2007 deluxe Jazz' arms almost. Just shells...sad excuse for limbs. I'm ALL for inhuman proportions, but you CANNOT tell me those can pass off for legs. Remember when people hated Blazemaster's arms and Jazz's arms also? What happened to the dislike of lazy limbs?

But that won't bother many people, and admittedly I'll still get it. I'll eat up any new HA mold.

 

It makes me glad that in terms of HA,I only get basics. I think the deluxe is MUCH better,imo.

 

I'll wait and see, but it seems likely I'll get the HA regardless, for the accessories and the feeding of my Alternators fetish.

I didn't realize it was Dylan at first! The "Mr. Gould" thing threw me off.   Now that I think about it, he's a good choice for Soundwave's partner.

Also, I want that Lazerbeak so badly! Does anyone else think he would look awesome next to Legends Ravage?
