Any updates on when there going to start to film it or rumours on which robots are going to be in it.?

Not yet, as far as I know.

They are presumably going to start filming around summertime this year, if they do it like the last two. Although I'm sure work on story and pre-viz will be underway, all that has leaked to us so far is a script which has been confirmed as false.

 

When we learn anything, it'll be up on the frontpage. That's a promise.

 

It's just way too early to have any news worth knowing.

They might have a working script by now, but they hate to have their scripts leaked so I don't think we will hear anything about the plot any time soon. ILM might be working on some of the new robots by now but there is no telling what will be accepted and what will get rejected as ideas are kicked around. Filming locations have to be scouted. And since so much of the film will likely use outdoor sets they will wait until better weather to start shooting.

Just like with the toys the movies have slow periods where there is very little shown or known. Heck we don't even know what they are considering for title yet.

 

ILM's probably doing what they did this time two and a half years ago, started making designs of random robots, and seeing the different mechanics and uses they could have.

 

No news yet but you'll definitely know because the frontpage will have any and all news for TF3 once it gets out.
