You know there'll be one with it being a Bay film. I'm sure bands will be hopping all over it.

I expect titular track performed by Aerosmith to drop in the next two months.

    That's just speculation, tho.

I hope Aerosmith stays away and doesn't get anywhere near this score. The last thing we need in the TF movie is a love song.

In any case, all of Bay's movies have had FANTASTIC scores! Excellent music in 'Armageddon' done by Harry Gregson Williams and Trevor Rabin, 'The Rock' done by Hans Zimmer/Harry and Hans again in 'Pearl Harbor'.
Not to forget 'The Island' score done by Steve Jablonsky, which has been used in many, many trailers: Ghostrider, Flyboys, etc..

Can't wait to hear this one. :]

The music is being done by Steve Jablonsky, who did the excellent score work on the Island (which had no major music band in the film itself, though one was included on the soundtrack)

I suspect we'll see two albums with the film, the actual score from the film and an "music inspired by" album which will have all the licensed stuff on it.

More than likely; an actual score, and a soundtrack.

We'll possibly get a Tyrese track thrown on the "inspired by" soundtrack.

Didn't he say at one point he was doing an orchestral version of the G1 theme for the film?

I'd like aerosmith a whole lot more if it didn't sound like somebody was pinching his nuts every time he finished a line......

i enjoy aerosmith. they're pretty rockin' but they're also very easy to not like. anyway, i watched a red carpet interview with one of the producers of the movie, and he said that for the most part it will be intense and awesome orchestral music, but they will likely put in a couple of epic pop songs. as for the G1 orch. theme, i've also heard from good sources that it will be in there. in fact, i think it was Bay who said that.

There will be a musical score in addition to the soundtrack. Standard fare for a movie of this magnitude.

That'll be sweet if they have a music inspired by album along with the original soundtrack.

At first I thought it'd be cool if they have rock bands performing songs, not just the theme song, but songs very fitting for a TF movie. But now, I'm thinking just one or two bands... one to sing the theme song, and another to sing at least some song within the line of Stan Bush's "Dare" or something like that.

i cant stand 'music from and insired by'. inspired by? you mean the artists were inspired by the money they were being offered to fill up some blank space on the CD release of the soundtrack.

IMO I think they are pretty good.... of course they are dead to most that have ehrd them so much longer than me and I can see that as a possibilitie.

Anyways a sound track would be pretty nice, Id love to here what they have in mind. Especially with a title as contreversal as Transformers!

Here's to hope that the soundtrack is amazing! :drunk

I'm hoping the soundtrack will include Gnarls Barkley's Transformer song. Heck, I even hope they will play that song in the actual movie. I could so imagine that song playing as the Autobots transform and roll out.:D
