    I think there were some news/rumor about Simmons. He's confirmed. No word yet about Leo. If both of them are in... We'll know during the August filming.

    Both Leo and Simmons are confirmed to be back in TF3, but I'm surprised that they haven't been seen on set in Chicago since the fight scenes they've been shooting in Chicago is for the final battle.

    they might not be in the final battle i think. in the last movie they werent really around for the final battle

    well i hope they die before the final fight. we need less human characters and mostly less annoying ones. well leo is the only one i dislike.

    I'm Guessing Simmons becomes a director for NEST or something like that.


    Leo, I hope he dies within the first 4 minutes.

    They were there for the final battle... they just weren't at the very front-line of it. For the most part, they hung towards the back... though Simmons did play a role in taking down Devastator.


    I'm sure that Leo and Simmons are going to be occupied elsewhere while the final battle takes place. After all, Simmons wasn't there at the Mission City battle in the 07 Movie (he was with Keller, Maggie, and Glen back at Hoover Dam to contact the Air Force to provide air support for Sam and crew while at the same time had to deal with Frenzy).

    Leo was "confirmed" before(?) ROTF came out. Really stupid to announce it back then. Taking it with a grain of salt. I hope he's forgotten like Miles.

    Simmons is back, but Bay's comment that he's comic relief makes me wonder if he's reducded to Leo "humor" status. I wish with all my heart that he's not.

    Haven't heard anything about Leo since the initial announcement back in Summer '09, back when Mikaela was also confirmed to return, so take that as you may.

    Both Simmons and Leo are confirmed to be coming back. Leo's role is supposedly "beefed up" from ROTF. Simmons is rumoured to have become a bit of celebrity, after writing books on the Transformers.
    My guess is that all the characters involved with the Transformers over the previous two films have become something of celebrities, now that Transformers are out in the open. I think that Leo will have some kind of government-run website about Transformer sightings or something, an update from his old, home-run website.
