I'm diggin' the ROTF deluxe sideswipe, but is there going to be a better version coming out in the future? More accurate and/or bigger version? I'd really like a masterpiece movie sideswipe.

Yep, the Human Alliance version, which judging by Bumblebee's size, should be about the size of an Alternator. Some pictures of him can be found here:

He even has the shoulder rocket launcher the other versions of him lack.

Hard to say how better it'll be, as there haven't been any reviews of it, and all we have to go off of are pictures. Shouldn't be too long till someone gets him and puts up a review. As for cost, depending on the store, the HA figures cost anywhere between $30 and $35 (in the US that is, I'm not sure what the cost is in other countries).

I've gotten over the shoulders, but there's still one thing that bothers me about HA Sideswipe. The amount of his alt-mode that ends up just hanging onto his back. As far as I can tell, if it wasn't for the tires, his legs wouldn't have anything alt-mode related in them. I may end up getting HA Sideswipe, and then waiting to get the Swerve repaint/retool of the Deluxe mold. That way I can have a screen accurate Sideswipe, and a copy of the great Deluxe-mold, but without having one look like the other's mini-me.

 

hmmm...I don't know if I want to get the deluxe version now or wait for the HA version that is going to cost 3-4x more.

 

I might do that too, not sure. I'm really on the fence. The HA Sideswipe looks amazing in car mode, but not so much on bot mode. The deluxe version looks pretty damn nice in robot mode. It's car mode is decent still. Also it doesn't look like the HA sideswipe will have that spinning blades gimmick like the deluxe one or am I wrong?

 

I'm not sure how it'll work on HA Sideswipe, but going off of the back-of-box picture we got a while back, he'll have "Spinning Arm Blades". It looks as though they spin, but in a different way compared to Deluxe Sideswipe. On a side note, I find it slightly odd that the back-of-box picture doesn't have any mention of the rocket launcher at all. Oh well, at least it's there.

I'd say go with HA Sideswipe, but Robot Replicas Sideswipe is actually pretty cool if you find him and are a fan of the design.

get both versions.. the deluxe is awesome.. and going by HA bumblebee (which rocks), HA sideswipe should be great too.. the pics look fine

 

This! I have and love deluxe Sideswipe, he maybe my favorite next to HA Bumblebee which is the exact reason I'm also picking up HA Sideswipe and the other 2 when they get released even thought I have deluxes of those too.

 

They're coming out with a HA Sideswipe. I think it looks stupid.
