I stopped collecting TFs after Beast Wars, and so I'm not familiar with the BM toyline.

From what I've seen and heard, they weren't very show accurate and did poorly enough that "Transtech" was cancelled. And I haven't really seen much, if any, BM figure love around the site.

So I was just curious: what figures did you guys like from the line?

I'd say get Megabolt/Megahead Megatron. He turns into a giant head that in the show is flying above the surface of Cybertron (but also was given legs for the heck of it).

It also can eat chips. Just ask Shane Anderson.

I found the Vehicon Spy Streak to be cool. Along with the Maximal Buzz Saw. The BM deluxe Jetstorm is good too, but it's not show like though. The later basic cycle drone figure is good too. Looks more like Thrust then the deluxe version does. Scavenger and Mirage is also good too, both basics.

As much as I like Hammerstrike, I would advice to skip that one. The one I have arm joints crack and broke and the fin's pegs broke off too.

I don't have many toys from this line, but I like Tankor quite a bit. He's beefy, solid, has some nice gimmicks, and is as well-articulated as any modern figure.

Deluxe and Ultra Jetstorm are nice figures. My favorite of the few I got. Maybe not show accurate but still cool. I recommend either one.

Hmm well lets see. Some of my choices might be unpopular but lets have a go:

    Basic Class:
    Motorcycle Drone
    Scavenger
    Spystreak
    Mirage
    Tank Drone
    Buzzsaw

    Deluxe Class:
Optimus Primal (by no means show accurate, but I like it)
    Black Arachnia
Jetstorm (much cooler than the ultra class toy IMO)
    something else which escapes me....

    Mega Class:
Megatron, yes he's tiny but full of awesome
Tankor, not show accurate at all but plenty imposing

and thats about it. I know Im missing something though. And I dont count Bruticus, Air Attack Primal, and Megabolt Megatron as they weren't released during BM but they are cool. And I'd really like to pick up Battle Unicorn he looks like a cool toy.

Most of the basic sized figures were pretty cool. Nightviper, Longhorn, the motorcycle and tank drones, and Battle Unicorn, who is just plain awesome.

Ultra Jetstorm is great. HUGE for the price, solid plastic, and the articulation is good.

Primal Prime looks great, never had him though. Same goes for Air Attack Primal, which was for BM but released in RID.

I dunno. I had him and found him to be boring. Sure it was more show accurate than the deluxe, but I didn't care for it. Mine ended up being sold to TFMaster who did....something with it Im sure.

Hmm, I guess there are a few interesting BM toys... but I'm not out to buy them (at least not yet).

Battle Unicorn and Primal Prime definitely look pretty cool though, as do the tank and motorcycle drones.

    The Dinobots shine.

So does Spystreak, Tank drone, Strika, Obsidian, Mirage, Scavenger.

Vehicons are your best bet with this line.

NightSlash Cheetor and BA are pretty decent on the Maximal side.

The only figure from Beast Machines proper (ie - excluding Air Attack Optimus Primal) I'd consider a must-have would be Deluxe Jetstorm. Not terribly close to the show in appearance but a very fun toy. I'd also recommend Mirage and Scavenger, although mostly because of that "BM Overkill" fan combination someone came up with for them.

All of the Vehicons except for Blastcharge and Deluxe Thrust are winners.

On the Maximal side Night Slash Cheetor is pretty cool but that's about it.
