This is going to be my first time at BotCon after years of want. Woot!

Are there any fellow Transfans going from the Seattle/Bellevue area? I'd love to meet some local folk before the Big Trip.

Take care all. I look forward to hearing from you guys!

I'll be going, along with a friend of mine who is a huge TF fan (but doesn't post on this board). This will be a first for both of us. Which hotel are you in? When do you plan on getting there?

Right now, I haven't quite knocked out all my plans, but I'll be in the Marriot Courtyard, if all goes well. I'm gonna try to get there Tuesday evening (June 27th) for the Wednesday tour.

    How about you?

I'll be there Thursday morning to catch the movie. I'm at the Westin which is the first hotel that was available. Have you purchased your plane ticket yet? Have you found any good deals?

I haven't picked up my ticket yet. I want to wait until I get pre-registration confirmation. (Why, oh why does it have to take so loooooong!)

Any suggestions on particular airlines, etc?

Also, how are people getting to their hotels and to the convention? Cabs? Rental car?

We're probably going to take a cab. I hear the parking is pricey. I'm checking expedia and other travel sites for the best price.

My wife and I are both going. We're going to get a car. I agree that parking sounds high, but I guess we'll deal with it.

My wife did not want to go. However when she heard about the whale watching tour she started to change her mind, but she quickly realized she would be bored the rest of the time.

I know I got lucky with my wife. There is some transformers that I have to buy 2 of, that way she has her own. It's cool that you get to go this year, it's nice knowing that there will be somebdy new coming that I already know.
