Hi everyone. My name's Alex. After lurking the kitbash forums for nigh on 3 months now i've decided to jump on-board.

My question is, how are Energon Megs forearms put together?

After seeing Jin's Galvatron (love your work by the way) I decided to do my own. I really want to transplant leader Prime's hands onto Galvatron. They look as if they might just work with the spring mechanism.

BUT. They're stuck together reeeeeeally well. Are they glued or pinned?

    Ta very much.

I was able to open one of my Megatron's arms. No glue that I could see, but I was only able to get one open. (for a similar project you described) I don't remember any pins.

I think it might be held together with glue but I did it so long ago I can't say for sure.

When I get home I'll check and see.

Hmm, that's odd. I've never tried taking my main E-Megs apart, but I opened up my mini-Megs (the 'TRU' 2-pack one) and had no trouble getting the forearms apart just by unscrewing them...
