When they send the small reconnaissance drone into Chicago, there is a brief clip of it flying by the camera towards a very tall building. In the 3D version of the movie, they messed up the rendering so that the depth was wrong. So, rather than it looking like the tiny flying drone is approaching the building, it looks HUGE and looks like it's flying past the building.

(This is the same drone that Lazerbeak throws into Sam/Bumblebees ship and that they use communicate with Lennox et al)

Yeah I was too busy noticing how beautifully apocalyptic that shot looked. Probably my favorite shot out of the whole film.

um, how could anyone have noticed that when we don't even know if it really is an error to begin with?

speaking of carly's ass in 3D, I swear there are 2 versions of the film

The first time I saw it, the ass shot was a certain length but by the 5th time I saw it, the ass shot was much shorter, like they took out an entire shot

Haha you guys are all goofballs. It didn't detract from my enjoyment at all. I'm surprised no one else noticed it. They set up the depth so that the thing looks huge as it flies past the building, then a couple scenes later we see it up close and it's actually smaller than a person.

I noticed it my first time through, but thought it might have just been me. But after the fourth time, it's definitely a mistake.

It wasn't an error, it was perspective.

I don't understand why they would intentionally portay the drone as being two obnoxiously different sizes though.

Yeah, I've seen it in IMAX 3D and Dolby Digital 3D and I think it was extended for IMAX.
