I doubt it... that was a store exclusive... and Target specifically seems to get 1 "big" shipment of the whole "small" production run of their exclusives at once.

Just want to debunk this rumor that keeps getting tossed around. Most Target exclusives are replenished quite frequently while they are featured on an endcap or down the aisle. THere is no finite number that every store will get and there isn't any "one shipment and then nothing ever again" scenario with any exclusives.

Bigtime shelfwarmer. No one wanted to pay $20 for repaints of toys they already had, so Target had to clearance them. I passed up on them when they were $13.88 and sort of regret it. I dont care for the white chocolate prime but having a classics skywarp would have been great.

Funny, I favored Magnus more than Prime. The colors suited the mold more.

Me, too. I'm using the DVD 2-pack Prime as Classics Prime... I'm kinda tired of him getting the 'best mold in the line, k?' treatment.

I've noticed that most of the modern Optimi seem to look pretty ominous in Magnus colors.

I didn't hesitate to buy it. I'm just as sick of white Primes as anyone, but the thing still looks nice in those colors, and Skywarp...holy shit, Skywarp is a beautiful toy. Much nicer than Starscream even

I bought it straight out of the stockroom before they hit the shelves, just for Skywarp. Magnus was filler for me.

Care to explain how you know this?

I didn't say there was a specific number every store gets. But there is a finite number, because they obviously don't get an infinite number!

"Replinished"... sure shelves are restocked more than once and each store might get their stock in more than 1 shipment, but I'm talking about 1 major production run and shipment from overseas. Does the Target Corporation ever re-order exclusive production runs from Hasbro? This is what I mean by 1 shipment.

Still... like you say "while they are featured on the endcap or down the aisles"... but typically that isn't a very long time at Targets and they do NOT restock after that. Which is what this guy is asking about. AFTER they get clearanced out is there a reason to every see them show up again?

Did Nemesis Prime get restocked as such?

    RID Dreadwing and Smokejumper?

    Robovision Prime?

Do YOU expect UM vs. SW to show up again anywhere?

I work for Target and have a pretty in-depth knowledge of how store replenishment is handled.

My entire post wasn't specifically directed at your post alone. Just a lot of posts I've seen over the course of a couple months where people claim each store gets a certain amount shipped an that's it. If a store sells through their stock faster than another, then obviously that first store will get more cases shipped to it as needed. That's what I mean by not a finite amount of product shipped to each store.

You are right, Target gets one major production run and order filled for their exclusives (with the exception of the movie scouts, and various other exclusives assortments, which are shipped much like any other multi-waved toy assortment).

No, once an exclusive is clearanced out, it won't show up at Target again(with a couple rare exceptions like the JLU six pack which just showed up again) because the distribution centers have cleared out their stock of exclusives.

I can't speak to those since those were before my time with the company.

Robovision Prime got replenished just the same as I explained before. Once he hit clearance, he was gone (even before then in a lot of stores).

No, unless Target couldn't sell some and sold the remaining stock to goodwill as I've often heard is done around the country, but have never seen it myself.
