After seeing the Hulk with Toronto & British Columbia sites being used. And remembering something about MB saying he wasn't going to shoot in Canada to save $$$ on the 1st TF film.
Any kind of Canadian references in the movie, Canadian shooting locations or Canadian staff/actors/companies involved with TF2 ? Even some remark about not freezing one's behind off in Canada?

you're saying that Isabel Lucas isn't considered talent?

Do you mean that she isn't talented, because otherwise I think you missinterpreted what urban samurai said. He said that other than the actors (ie talent), Bay kept the film basically all-american, meaning that the locations, vehicles, and technology were all based in america

Hugo Weaving the voice of Megatron from the first film [and presumably the 2nd] is also Australian

Rachael Taylor from the first film [and sadly not the 2nd] is also Australian

Mark Ryan ,Bumblebee in the first film [and presumably the 2nd] is from the U.K.

yeah like I said, ASIDE from the talent

    All American as in:

    American shooting locations
Refusing to shoot the film cheaper in Canada or Australia so that he can keep his American film crew
Using cars such as the GMC Topkick and the Saleen Mustang which represent American Muscle

    you get the point

Plus the British SAS are in this film, that's not all-american unless they just get Americans to do that really weird English accent

Appears I did. Apologies. Though in all honestly, after watching her play Tasha on Home and Away for a couple of years I can't say she's gonna win an oscar for her acting anytime soon....

I'm sure a big factor in filming is the fact that they'd have to ship those transformers to other countries to film it, and i'd imagine it's not cheap to ship Optimus Prime around the world. Not to mention TF fiction only really occurred in the US, or Cybertron. Not often we really saw TF's fighting in the middle of London, the Australian outback or in Slovakia or anything is it?

    Thats not exactly true.

There was at least 1 U.S. Marvel G1 Comic book issue were the story took place in the U.K.

There were more then a few in the U.K. Marvel G1 comics.

Dream Waves G1 comics features Canada.

And there were a few episodes of the G1 toon that took place in other countries.

The bulk of the stories did take place in the U.S. thou.

That's why I said 'not often do we see....' there are exceptions to what I said, but as a general staple, the TF's are in America.
