Hi everyone,
I just got a Brave Maximus the other day and I was looking to see if anyone knew where I could pick up some repros of the Fort. Max. Accessories to make him complete including: Two big guns, gasket, grommit, cogs arms, cogs gun, master sword and mini master sword. If anyone could help me find any of these item I could be very grateful.

I've looked into this before, but all I've been able to come up with is to pick stuff up piecemeal on ebay. That's expensive, though, so I'm hoping someone else has a much better answer than mine.

 

mastersword replicas were made before weren't they?

 

I know that a user named Darkov does repro most of these items, but the thing is I found him 2 days after he put up a statement saying that he was taking a few months off from casting. From what he says, I can understand why he needs a break. I mean if, I can't find anything, I can always wait for him to come back haha.

Yes. There are actually some in ebay from Taiwan. From what I have been hearing, the KOs are much more sturdy than the real ones. The replicas are going for about $80 and it includes the handle for MP Prime as well as Maximus.

They haven't made it in a few years I think. So it probably goes for a lot more $$$ now if they even come up for sale.
No stickers by the way, those are ReproLabels on mine.

 

There's more than one repro set out of there, I got the red (Grand Max style) ones too. The version released for Robot Masters, IIRC, used black weapons.

 

So......does anyone know where I might be able to get these repros? lol. Hope someone out there does!

 

You're going to have keep checking Ebay, since they haven't been making them in a while.

I will post some new pics of G1 Cerebros with cartoon accurate Spike that Bradforj and Darkov put together a couple of years back. Much better than the other one I have pictured back there.

 

Doesn't hurt to email darkov to see what his status is on making more. I bought a brave and fort max parts from him before and they are top notch plus he can get them in any color you prefer. If your not in a rush, I would wait till he resumes casting. Ebay prices are ridiculous for Max parts.

 

Thanks for the info GrandMaXimus, I don't want to bother darkov during his sabbatical lol. From what I've seen/read the poor guy has been busting his butt making parts since 2008 so I'll just wait until he resumes casting. What parts did you get from him? Can you post some pictures?

In addition to cartoon accurate Headmaster Spike, Darkov has casted classics seekers null rays, guns for G1 Sixshot, a part for G1 Ratchet, blue pipe lighting for Superlink Wheeljack and many others. Here are the null rays:

 

Those Null Rays look fantastic, I'm starting to feel like I should just wait till darkov comes back. lol

 

You could always up grade his stickers

 

The robotmasters release never came with anything different than car robots as far as accessories go. The only one to get that kinda treatment was the lucky draw.

Look at the detail, this thing looks like it could be the real deal, just as nice as the hasbro Headmasters.
