Did certain parts of any book make you uncomfortable? If so, why did you feel that way? Did this lead to a new understanding or awareness of some aspect of your life you might not have thought about before?
    Thanks.

Never read a book that creeps me out except for one but it's against board rules to tell you what the book is. I did read a very disturbing variation of Little Red Riding Hood in my Children's Literature class at uni that involved an over 18 Little Red Riding Hood getting down with Mr. Wolf though.

Put the smack away before the smack puts you away.

    Wait... this isn't the fuzzy...

The 120 Days Of Sodom by the Marquis De Sade. As for which bit made me uncomfortable - open the book at pretty much any page.

I was told Mein Kampf is like chewing glass and sandpaper. Hitler was a messed up guy, that's for sure.

Any book that doesn't have the word 'comic' in front of it scares the hell out of me.

There was this copy of Little Red Riding Hood that had an illustration of the Big Bad Wolf being very graphically killed. Blood spurting and all, plus a very vivid expression of agony on the wolf's face. Normally, such an image wouldn't faze me. But I like wolves. :(

Night by Elie Wiesel, for obvious reasons.

Read it twice all the way through and it still sends shivers down my spine in some parts.

The only book I don't like reading is the Bible, I'm not saying anything besides that because I'd probably be suspended.
