tired of your g2 aerialbot slingshot falling victim to "gps"? after going through 4 previously good g2 slingshots falling apart and crumbling in my hands, i ended up making this guy instead of the constant gps gamble. basically a repainted g1 slingshot into g2 colors. the hardest part out of it all was sanding/fitting his head to ensure the paint isn't ripped off when he combines into superion and transfering the original wing decals from a donor g2 bot onto him carefully......stupid paper backed decals. the gold is automotive bright metallic gold enamel,and the silver and blue colors are tamiya acrylics. with my most decent g2 original left......his tail is in waaaay too many pieces to bother adding it to him for these pics.sad thing is it took 3 crumbled bots to make him almost whole again.
Nicely done, you really can't tell a difference in the comparison pics, what is the brand of paint you used? It looks like an almost exact match for late g1/g2 gold plastic.
