Its the guy that directed Shaun of the Dead. 10 bucks says he tries to make this (disaster) a comedy.

My sentiments exactly. If he made it a serious movie, and possibly added in another of his super-hero disguises to add a twist, I may consider watching it. But if he makes it a comedy it'll probably suck.

I know that I am the one who posted the article remember? :D
What I mean is if the tudio has any mind, it should really either:
    A. find another director
    or
    B. make him make it a serious movie

I hope so. That'd make a good twist ending, ala Ultimates #6. :)

-First up, to those wanting a "serious" Ant-Man movie: Dream on. the character is ludicrous on every level, and always have been.

-Secondly, to those saying "Get a new director!!!!!": Did any of you SEE Shaun Of The Dead? It was brilliant, easily one of the funniest films I have seen in years. The thought of an Ant-Man comedy directed by Edgar Wright is nothing short of GENIUS.

I dont mean that I want something serious on the level of say...the Punisher. Just not something like Shaun.

Actually I saw it. It was about 90 minutes of my life that i want back. Not to mention the money the ticket cost.

So the Ant Man movie finds a director, but good luck in it's finding an audience.

Dude, no one's going to see an Ant-Man movie. Why would anyone even think that people would go and see that?

Recognizable Superheroes need movies. Not Ant-Man.

    I'll go see it.

Unless they make it look as horrible as they did Catwoman. Then I'll wait till I can see it for free from the library.

(Incidently, Catwoman wasn't all that hoirrble. Even kinda clever in a couple places. Eleckra was much worse.)
