I just picked it up today for £5, after eying it up at HMV for £25. Bargain!

I'm getting further than I ever did as a kid, but its rock solid though.

And funnily enough the 320 x 200 looks great still, maybe better when played in high res.

I want a special edition of Flashback now. :(

I just tried replaying that game. I got stuck at the same place I did when I first played it, and gave up.

No, just Another World (Out of this World in some places).

Its just this game because the creator bought the rights to this game back from Delphine and has released it himself, it also comes with a Making of Documentary, Diary, technical handbook, and the soundtrack on MP3 all on the disc.

I keep meaning to pick this up. I tried the demo a while ago and was surprised at how fluid and easy to play it was compared to the original version, plus the tarted up mode looks pretty decent as well.

Heart of the Alien wasen't done by the original AW dude and probably couldent be updated in the same way even if it was. There are some folks on the internet doing an open source rewrite using the original Mega CD assets though.

Flashback is totally unrelated beyond the publisher trying to cash in on AW's sucess by making a similar sort of game themselves.

And I've died more times per minute on this game, than any other game I've ever played. Yet I still like it and plug on... strange.
