Something I don't think anyone has considered, maybe that line from Optimus is actually directed at Galvatron? Just a thought.

 

It was discussed before and yes,it can be the case but the logical answear would be that it was directed to Lockdown.

 

In trailers like this where voice overs are applied over different shots of the movie, nothing is the logical answer. That voice clip from OP could be directed at Lockdown but it could just as well be directed at any other TF, including Galvatron. In fact I think that voice clip would be perfect in the situation that OP has beatten Galvatron, has him down and is questioning who sent him.

I'm not arguing that it wasn't directed toward lockdown at all. Just saying it could be directed at anyone in the movie.

I think it's more logical that it's Lockdown being 'Sent' here. It sounds as if there has been some dialogue that has indicated that whoever it is, is not there off their own back... more that they are working for someone. This is logical to me... may not ACTUALLY be the case, but is logical.

 

It's probably directed at Lockdown, but I didn't think about the fact it was a trailer, and could've applied to Brains or Cade for all we know.

Anyway;

Short answer; Can be directed at anyone due to the trailer being edited in a random way where audio can be misplaced to misdirect people

Long answer; While it can be directed at anyone due to the trailer being edited in a random way the main three choices seem to be either Lockdown, Galvatron or the military squads that are after the Autobots. Whatever the case may be the trailer is not an accurate representation and has likely being edited for suspense.

Worth noting; Lockdown while the most likely was stated at only having 'hints' during this film such as things in the interior of his spaceship. While we may discover who sent him - they might not have a large impact until the second film, especially with the ending scene that many have watched already which hints that the battle is not over.
