Minor/Repaint: another WFC prime, my first tformer repaint

    this is my first attempt at repainting a transformer...i have a great appreciation for all of yall customizers.....very time consuming...i started it yesterday and worked on it mainly today (i have mondays off, so i had plenty of down time)

    no clue..hahahah i guess to give it an asphault look then add some color.......or something......in person, it doesnt look as speckled.....
    do ya think i should redo it with mor brushed look instead of the speckled look?

    I would man, everything else looks good but the gun (in my opinion) should be traditionally black with those red lighting effects - but that's just me :)

    hi erisco, what pink did ya use?
    is it florescence red?
    i liked those shines under the greasy weathering.

    thanks, its called metallic red, but looks more like pink...they are acrylic paints i got from walmart...i need to get some good paints like the testors or somethign soon if im gonnna keep up on trying to paint transormers and other toys :)

    Good try and good work for first try...ok in order to get scratch effects on metal parts...try dry brushing...get a GUNZE ALLUMINIUM color...a rough flat brush...( if you can get a rough flat brush , you my cut the flat brush into half...) then get some alluminium paints and dry those paints onto some tissue until almost dry...then gently brush at edges and you will get the effects...try it out...it will look even better.

    awesome..thanks...yeah, i was just using silver then doing a few wash layers of metalic black on it and ...fora weathered look :) 
    but for acrylic paints...not too bad?? i hope
