This caught my eye while logging into my email.

Source: Josh Duhamel Kicked Off Flight After Tantrum - omg! news on Yahoo!

"Josh Duhamel didn't get to fly the friendly skies on Thursday. The actor, 38, was kicked off a flight headed from NYC to Kentucky after refusing to turn off his BlackBerry before takeoff, TMZ reports.

A passenger on the flight said that Duhamel was "very rude" and "taunting" a male flight attendant's repeated requests to turn off his device.

Upon the attendant's third request, Duhamel reportedly laughed. At that point, the still-grounded plane left the runway and headed back to the gate -- further delaying the flight and reportedly angering other passengers.

Two officers later boarded the plane, and escorted the Transformers actor (and husband to singer Fergie) off the vessel.

A rep for the actor told TMZ that Duhamel was simply texting about his flight being delayed. "He's sorry," the rep added."

Seems to be a trend going on with some of the TF actors this time around.

I agree theirs a point when its just not relivent to transformers and this is well past that point.

really I dont give a s**t he could of had a legit reason to be using his phone e.g. an energency at home... or he could be an ass hat either way it does not really effect TF3 in any way

It should be, this was the same section that thing with Shia throwing coffee on paparazzi was talked about.

I just posted the article because I think things like this reflect on the movie and IMO the worse the movie does the worse it is for us as collectors in the long run.

And I didn't care about that either. Really, that was posted because the OP had a beef against...well, The Beef!

And I disagree. This is just mindless, tabloid fluff. "Oh, look at them, their being a bit of a d*ck!" That won't affect if people go see a movie their in or not.

Now, if was arrested for, I don't know, having sex with a minor, then we might have something that could affect the film's box office.

He...he did what?!?! Sweet Jesus, Mary, and God on high! I swear henceforth that I will never, ever pay honest money to watch any film with such a disgraceful and reckless man as an actor in it ever, ever again! Oh woe and sadness, this, I fear, includes Dark of the Moon! If only this actor's terrible misdeeds had not prevented me from ever seeing this movie that I have anticipated for so long...but, such is the way of Hollywood. :(

eh, i blame the flight attendants-i can tell by reading it that hey over-exaggerated the situation. an in all honesty, its been proven that no current phones have any true effects on planes anyways.

I asked an attendant once she said the phones are fine but during the pre-take off to getting to altitude a phone trying to connect to service can have a negative effect on radar, and reception of transmissions. On top of that there's ways for people to track phones even mid flight via gps..making it easier to target said plane with a missle. Aka Terrorist.

Mythbusters. they tested some of the most modern phones at the time, and nada. true that wasnt toooo recent, but im pretty sure things havent changed too too much-the hones have, but the system itself is the same, and thats what counts.

I remember that episode and they did confirm that cell phones CAN interfere. I looked it up and, from this site:

The ban on cell phones on aircraft is designed to force passengers to use the expensive in-flight phones.
    BUSTED
It was found that cell phone signals, specifically those in the 800-900 MHz range, did intefere with unshielded cockpit instrumentation. Because older aircraft with unshielded wiring can be affected, and because of the possible problems that may arise by having many airborne cell phones "seeing" multiple cell phone towers, the FCC (via enforcement through the FAA) still deems it best to err on the safe side and prohibit the use of cell phones while airborne.

The only busted thing was that there was a conspiracy behind the reason for the cell phone ban.
