Haven't drawn the big guy in a while, figured I'd give it another go (never can draw too many primes)

Wanted to mix the various Optimus aesthetics that I liked as well as imput my own unique style.

Critiques are liked, especially for coloring.

(working transformation as well. I might draw the truck mode soon to do a color coordinated transformation scheme.)

Very nice work! I love your interpretation of Prime and how you both incorporated and selected various elements and kibble from other versions of him. Over all, it comes together with a rather natural feel; great job! My only critique is that his upper arms and legs feel a little too narrow and could use some thickening. And, if I may make a suggestion, it might be a nice touch to include the Matrix, particularly since you've already done such a good job of rendering the dimensions of his (empty) chest.

Again, great job and thanks for sharing such a great piece!
Looking forward to seeing your transformation sequence of him!:thumbs2:

This... This is superb! I especially like the coloring, it looks very smooth. And is there any chance you may use this aesthetic to draw any other transformers?

I REALLY like this. I dare say this is the most creative piece I've seen from you. I really think it's cool that you were bold enough to play around with the design and other elements of Optimus Prime.

I want to see more work like this from you :)

Just bulk up the upper arms and legs a little bit.

like most have said...beef up the upper arms. I don't mind the legs, but the upper arm is a little frail

But...overall most excellent job good sir. :D  Keep it up. I wanna see either a Unicron or a Starscream in this style!

To me this almost seems like an older, or at least wiser Prime. Not so much a warrior. I'm thinking someone like Dumbledore (the Richard Harris or book version). I like it a lot.

Thank you all so much for your comments! The lankiness is really intentional. I kinda wanted prime to look kind and gentle, not big bulky and warrior-ish. The non-tf robots that I draw on my own are very often spindly, much more than prime here.

    Great work !

I'd say keep him the way he is : looking tough, but vulnerable at the same time.
