I still have a few details to paint and the Roadbuster head is still on it's way from Shapeways, but I'm quite pleased with how it's turned out so far.

The colors are nice and even. Very well done!
Is he going to get any weathering or anything to break up the 'brightness' of the orange and green?

Thank you. I really haven't decided whether or not to do some weathering. I'm color blind (I have trouble with shades. I don't see in black and white.) so it looks to me to be an exact color match to the G1 Roadbuster, even though I now know I picked out some bright colors. If I was selling it I would definitely weather it. But since it's just for me, I'll probably leave the colors as is.

This looks really cool. I'm hoping that he'll have way more weapons than that though :bay

I think some of the brightness may be from the camera flash. The paint looks excellent, very clean lines. It looks great.

I've heard over the past couple years that the rubbing on this mold was horrible. Were you able to successfully overcome this?

For the most part. I sanded down any spots that rubbed, then gave them a layer of superglue, then sealed everything in a few coats of flat clear paint.

Good work, but it's a shame people leave the chain mail detail on this. I can understand why as it's a pain to fill and level out. Awesome colours and I look forward to seeing it with a head.

    Needs more guns, always!

The Iron Man Humvee is such an excellent mold. I'm using one for an Ironhide.
