eBay verkoper: madmonkie22: Speelgoed en spellen objecten op eBay.nl If you want to sell KO, SAY IT'S KO!!
Yikes, and it looks like he's been successfully scamming people for a while. $188 for a KO Devastator?
Snap! His 'additional info' is: "1984 Takara." He's obviously been asked about their date/legitimacy. What I've never understood is why these dodgers will list multiples of the same KO. That removes any doubt I may have had (that and the 1984 Takara black Primes! Can you imagine what they'd be worth if they were authentic??).
I really do want a couple of those and the starting bids are lowest I've seen on these. If I can snatch a Slude for under $40 shipped, I'm all over it.
Has anyone emailed the buyers that bought his KOs at high prices such as that devastator gift set and the hub cap ? I sent all the buyers that paid a crazy price for the KO's to let them know they bought KOs. True that he is starting the price out low but he is still a waste for not telling people these are fakes and hopes they bid the price up high. One guy paid over 80$ for some cassettes and another was over 50$ for a hubcap. I wonder if his Gi Joe stuff is real, is there KO figures in that line too ?
The GI Joes are licensed versions made by Funskool, marketed in India. While his descriptions are still minimal, the pictures do show the Funskool logo clearly on the front of each card. It wouldn't hurt if he mentioned this of course.
no shit.. what I don't understand is before you go to drop 100+ bucks on a "vintage" toy.. wouldn't you ask alot of ?'s and do some homework? I admit I bought one a while back.. but I wasn't paying a ton of money before I was sure it was vintage.. and it was a buy it now. I wasn't fighting with someone over it. he will just say that the box says 1986 takara on it.. and that is all he put as the description as to not break any rules. if he advertises it as a vintage toy then he is breaking the seller rules. he is a sneaky bastard who has obviously been caught up before. fucker
Auctions are updated now - all stating he didn't know they were KOs...find that one hard to swallow. Like he just happenned to find the red/gold Mirages en mass.
At least he actually DID update the auctions; most of the KO sellers wouldn't have done that. Lifepincher: This thread http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...ell-new-ko-reissues-apart-authentic-toys.html will help you out on that.
But he did sold the KO devastator for $188, I don't think he's innocent. Devastator Constructicon Transformers - eBay (item 260318616854 end time Nov-22-08 11:26:12 PST)
I have one of these, if you want an advice, save your money for the real thing, I mean they are very good and molded after the original g1, but these were not made with the same quality as the KO mirage or the sharkticons. anyway is a great figure. but not worth the $70.00 it costs.
Well, looks like they were all pulled. The ones I was watching are no longer in "my ebay". Darn, I still can't get a KO Sludge. Not to mention I really want the Wheeljack, Scourge, and Cyclonus that recently came out...
