There was an interview posted on MTV.com this morning, but it sounds familiar.

MTV just has that knack for bringing out the tactless idiot in everyone doesnt it? :rolleyes2

Orci really limped thru that but at least he didnt totally destroy my enthusiasm for the movie. They really need to get a spokesperson for it tho before one of these guys burns the house down. :banghead:

Besides that, it's kind of too late since the "raping childhood" cliche has been used previously on the many TF fan boards anyway

Overall it was a decent interview, nice to have the writers speak since they've been pretty quiet in terms of interviews

Personally, I'd rather hear it from the people who made it.
And ridiculed every time anyone's been that stupid.;)
I agree. It's interesting to read what the guys who actually wrote the movie think, as opposed to just seeing Don Murphy rehashing the same sentence.

Good read. It sounds like they are confident in the movie.

Good interview. Good to see they gave Prime some attention, since the movie seems to focus a lot on Bumblebee. And I would have preferred to see Ravage in place of Scorponok, but oh well. Maybe in 2 or 3.

Ugh. The Michael Bay Definitely wanted to do a Kids movie, statement kinda has me a little freaked out... I Thought it was meant for a general audience and TF fans, ...not kids... Isn't there another post about this almost getting an R rating? Those two things kinda conflict.... agh.. I"m reminded of why I stopped watching and waiting so intensely, too much information, too much speculation,

    .......me go crazy now...

I think that was the intent of the comment. They's obviously *still* working on parts of the script and are doing so with the fans in mind. Despite how hard some people will try to claim against that. So far, it seems like it's going to be a good movie.

Tactless idiot? Orci regularly reads and posts on the official movie forum, by far the center for the most caustic criticism of the movie there is in the fandom.

He's just repeating what people are accusing him of doing. I swear some of those people take Transformers as if its holy religion and are ready to take up arms.

Disaster movie garnished with action on a plate of global proportions? Oh hells yeah!

Since I've been trying to avoid script spoilers... this actually sounds pretty cool. Close Encounters of the Third Kind-ish.
