Amon himself was a blood bender, yet he blamed the world's troubles on benders, so he used his blood bending to disable the benders midichloreans, effectively severing their ties to the elements.

Or, since ThunderTron is a beast former, he is a different species than cybertronians are. Jungle Planet, perhaps?

 

I'm not sure if Transformers can be classified in terms of "species."

But yeah, Jungle Planet would make sense, since he has a beast mode.

 

No, he's not. Thundertron and his crew (sans one Decepticon, who isn't -really- in the crew, just sort of works with them) are Transformers NOT FROM Cybertron.

They're from colony worlds. Velocitron (AKA Speed Planet), Gigantia, Beast Planet, whatever else.

Thundertron and crew hate the Transformers FROM Cybertron. As in, born, lived on, and recently went into space from that planet. Other Transformers, such as Velocitronians, he has absolutely no problem with. Just Transformers from Cybertron.

And with pretty good reason. He blames Cybertron for the downfall of the space bridges (which is true), and cutting the colony worlds off from one another. Cybertron was the center of a galactic empire, and the empire fell. As such, several colony worlds would have been really screwed up and faced disasters and tragedies without the bridges.

He's going for revenge for letting that happen.

 

I hope the Jungle Planet shows up in the third book. It would make for some great story potential with Scourge and the other residents of the planet

 

Yeah, Thundertron & the others from the colony worlds are about as Cybertronian as the Carthaginians were Phoenician.

Actually I was just stupid, in a hurry and didnt double check to see what I first typed.

What I forgot was to put a don't in between I and understand.

So what I was originally trying to say was that I don't understand why Thundertron hates cybertron, he is a transformer and cybertron is were all transformers originate.

 

Same reason the NAILS do. Autobots and Decepticons are jerks and ruined the place.

 

Physically - maybe, but not always they can call "you" as same, feeling your spirit inside.

 

Research the history of any real world colony and their original homeland. Same general idea. Not every colony retains a happy relationship with their homeland.

 

No prob bro.   So far, his story's only been in the Exiles novel. He is getting a toy soon (or soonish), as we know. He's also going to be in the Chinese TF Online game. Bots, Cons and his faction, so a three faction game.

That Chinese TF Online game looks awesome. I wish they'd make toys for them....
