The recently updated Hasbro checklist reveals another interesting detail:

The actual sets were more like this:

FINAL STAND (Longarm/Tow Truck, Bumblebee torso, Mikeala torso inside Longarm)
FIRST ENCOUNTER (Barricade w/ neutered Frenzy, additional Frenzy figure, Sam, Mikeala w/ chainsaw)
CAPTURE OF BUMBLEBEE (Concept Camaro, S7 agent, Lennox colored as S7 soldier, single Ice soldier)
DESERT ATTACK (Scorponok, Epps, Figueroa, Donnelly)

So what Hasbro apparently did was:
    1) Scrap the bike and scooter accessories for Sam and Mikaela from the "First Encounter" set (possibly even entirely redesign their sculpts)
    2) Scrap the S7 soldier and one of the "ice soldiers" from the "Capture of Bumblebee" set
    3) Color Lennox from the "Desert Attack" set as an S7 soldier and put him into the "Capture of Bumblebee" set

Also note how the legless Bumblebee figure from the "Final Stand" set is glaringly missing his door wings, yet has two very deep screwholes inside the "wheels" on his back that look conspicuously as if they had been designed with attachable extra parts in mind.

It's a shame they dropped that, it'd have made the scenes more interesting. Nice find, Nevermore :)

good catch...those extra pieces would have gonna a long way to justify the cost of those sets. Could have sold alot more...these things are still clogging shelves
