    As much as i want it to be a lo-fi foreshadowing of things to come, I can't believe it's official in any way. I mean, seeing the word "Cloverfield' on a street sign? Not so subtle. I mean, it's neat, and whoever making it is probably having fun, but it smells amateurish.

    there is meant to be a sequal, i just think this is fan made and not offical viral marketing.

    I'd be all for a sequel, just because I loved the first one so much. But I'm pretty sure this is fake.

    There was talk of a sequel with both Abrams and Reeves expressing the desire to do one, but some of their later quotes indicate it might not happen. I hope it does though. I LOVED the movie.

    As much as I loved Cloverfield, and I loved Cloverfield, I kind of hope there isn't a sequel. Because half way through alot of part two movies, you can be really sorry you actually got a part two, a la Blair Witch 2.
