Man, I'm so glad I'll be able to watch a Star Wars film with my 3-year-old son in an actual movie theater.

I don't care, I'm seeing it opening weekend. I'll be watching it on TV when the series starts. And I'll probably quietly love it.

It actually looks pretty good. I don't think any other big movies are gonna be out when this comes out so maybe George will make a buck or two.

It's wild to see the Warner Brothers logo connected with LucasFilm Ltd. and a Star Wars film.

Cool, I hope the movie plays at the IMAX. Obi Wan and Clones rule!

The only downside I see is why are we getting a real 'Clone Wars' movie now. Lucas should really let more people contribute to the SW Universe when it comes to movies (like this, SW video games and ROTS w/ Spielberg). When will he learn that not every SW movie has to have the same formula.

Wow! That's one of the better looking PS2 games out there!

What's that? It's a movie? And really just a commercial for an upcoming tv series? I'll see it, but only because I get to watch it for free. Can't be worse than Phantom Menace.

Not sure when it happened, but Lucas decided to put out a movie first that rolls into the weekly series. Not sure if they came up with a new story for the Clone Wars movie or if it is just a combination of the first few episodes.

I was skeptical at first but being the SW fan that I am I think I'll enjoy it quite a bit. This trailer makes it looks pretty good too and the fact that Lucas isnt directing or anything it should turn out well :)

I find it highly unrewarding as a trailer. I've seen better CGI from people on the boards here.

The CGI is defintely lacking for a movie, but I personally don't care as long as its all consistant and it obviously doesn't want to show up the series too much when it aires on television. If I had any gripe with the consistancy is that the backgrounds and vehicles look far more realistic then the characters. I know reasons why this sacrifice is made, but it's still an inconsistancy.

Either way, I'm looking forward to it. The best part of the prequels was the action, and this looks chock full of it. I just can't deny getting excited over huge star war battles and lightsaber fights, even in stylized CG.

Yep. And judging by this trailer, Christopher Lee is voicing Dooku.

Someone at Rebelscum thinks Ewan McGregor is Obi-Wan's voice in there, too. I disagree, but it's a good approximation.

I know in the teaser that sure didn't sound like Frank Oz as Yoda.

a lot of the main characters arent being voiced by the "movie stars"

personally i think they sound fine and mostly indistinguishable. i've always thought obi-wan, anakin, and dooku's VA's from the cartoons/games were awesome

as far as people knocking the CGI?? personally i dont see it. i think this looks amazing. the art style, the color palettes. It all looks fantastic and top notch to me

i'll be seeing this for sure [and dang..that trailer made it seem even more awesome. loved the musical score in it]

    Good
    its starwars
I get free-thank you having a friend working on a movie theather who hates movies(although not sure why he works there)
No Lucas attached to it save by name I heard

    Bad
big downside, I HATE the cgi/art style of the characters...

If I can get past it Im sure I can enjoy it.(stupid artiste side of mine.)

and if I gave clone wars a shot when I thougth it was a real bad idea I dont see how I cant see this one. the worse that can happen is me wasting a few hours.
