Maybe it's the gearhead in me, but that clip bugged me a bit. Motorcycles have a much lower weight to horsepower ratio than any car. Arcee should have smoked that other guy right off the line. It would never be that close in real life. Especially with an alien motorcycle that is bound to be even better and faster than earth built ones.

The clip makes it very clear that Arcee was letting him get ahead first to show off later though.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here....

**Disclaimer** I personally loved the clip. It fits Arcee's character in this series perfectly. As an adult, I can recognize this....

However, getting to my role play here, kids may not be able to recognize this as a character statement. The message that can be drawn here is that winning IS everything if you set out to make the competition CRY!

I can see parents throwing a hissy fit on that.

Regardless, Arcee rocks. Great to see another different character standout in a TF series.

What about if we include Maximals as well? Does Arcee compare with the likes of Rattrap and Dinobot?

yeah, kinda goes against the whole idea of cartoons teaching kids morals and such...and... practically the whole mission statement of the Hub :D

yet, to tell you the truth, I as a child never took away much from cartoons. i impersonated character dialogue and action, but never derived life lessons from these shows, positively or negatively. Besides, maybe Arcee herself will learn a lesson by the end of the episode kinda like Ratchet in Scrapheap.

Picked up a little of his paint scheme, I think :)

Agree about the lessons..and parents will stop their kids from watching a series that they feel sends a bad message..such as bad behavior.. I know my bro won't let my nephew watch Sponge Bob anymore :(  Can't stand that whiney sponge.

As for Arcee learning a lesson b4 the epi is over...yep, that may be what happens after Breakdown and Knockout show up   Not that she couldn't handle those Cons :lol
