First off I need to give a shout out to Solscud007 and irvinechan1982 for the face swap idea, but I decided to go into a little different direction for the face......I had a spare ALT Smokescreen face sitting in a parts container and I just happened to see it this morning and thought........Oh my gosh, this is totally Magnus!

So, I took the face piece and on the face line for the cheeks on both sides just behind the eyes, I took my exacto saw and cut right straight down to make it even. I then took my exacto knife and I shaved off the nose guard for the City Commander head, to make the proportions look nicer to accomodate the new face......I then painted the top inside of the commander crown dark blue to create just a slight contrast to show the light blue eyes off more........

I hope everyone likes this simple mod. I haven't had much time to work on anything in a while, so this felt good to do a little something.

    Enjoy!

It's nice to see you post something, havn't seen you around here in while. Welcome back to the Bashing World even if it was something as small UM head. Keep up the good work!

seriously, that's the best UM head i've seen yet. all the other ones have smaller eyes and a pointier chin. this one is much more "masculine" and older looking.

WOW! This is the best UM face swap I've seen. Well done! I might have to recast the original head (which I like too much to cut up) and do this mod.

thinking about the best way to go about it. I might make a specially designed helmet with faces that can slide in, allowing owners to have 3-4 faces to swap out.

After re-reading your how-to. I dunno if I have the guts to shave off the nose guard haha. I will try it without shaving the nose guard. I picked up a KO diecast red alert BT at TFCON and I swapped heads with Richochet to make prowl. So I have a red alert head. The KO head is a red smokescreen head. so I got it to make it work.

sodawilly, as always, you're spot on, bud.

As for him doing work, he'll have something for me to post here soon too :D

What arrangements have you made with sodawilly about this? This is his head mod   I think you and soda certainly could work something out with you casting his idea, but I don't think it proper to simply take his idea and start casting heads. (Please refer to Radicons Guidelines/Etiquette #6). Again, I think you guys would certainly work something out. Holler at soda; he's a cool guy. :thumb

^^ i like it better without the nose guard, but man you're fast at casting and painting it. looks great, but IMO, looks better showing more of the face. the eyes kinda run into the middle and look smaller with the nose guard in place.
