I think I just about finished my modifications to have Alternator Trailbreaker. The painting is done, I just have to make the forcefield generator more secure and make a custom license plate.

Right now in truck mode he looks no different from NP except for the undercarriage, so I may want to get some stickers for the sides. I decided not to put an Autobot symbol on the chest because I did not want it to stand out when he is in alt mode.

I finished my repaint the other day, and when I saw the reprolabels stickers I was like YES! and ordered them immediately. then I realized that I would be basically paying $15 for the two vehicle side stickers and the license plate, since I liked my bot mode paint apps better than the stickers. so I ended up emailing them back (gratefully) for a refund. I love seeing the different variations of trailbreaker that people are doing. I would wager this would be one of the most widespread bashes/repaints done in quite a while.

Looks pretty nice! Though the red looks a little pinkish in the pics, is that just the from the lighting?

Love that you did the visor blue. Most I have seen have been red, and its nice to see the animated look show up.

Yeah, it's just the light that makes it look kinda pink. The color I used (Testors Metallic Red enamel 1152) is actually a very close match to the color of the windows.

Can you transform it without having to take off the head? That seemed to be a problem Reprolabels had with their kitbash, and I find with just changing OP's head with Hound--the Hound or Swindle head is too big for the hood to flip over.

Matrix Soul - The truck mode looks the same way it did as Nemesis Prime. I do need to make a new license plate and maybe something on the side that is reminiscent of the G1 Trailbreaker design, but not as close to it as the Reprolabels design.

The head stays on for transformation, the forcefield generator does not. I attatched the head by cutting a small notch in the botom of the Swindle head I used:

It does not look up as it could on Swindle, but can turn 360 degrees.
