Not so much a remake, but I'd really like Gunslinger Girls to get another season, or even remake season 2 by the team who did season one. It's one of the few animes I've seen that I can stand, because it's more of a drama than anything else. Not much of a fan of the more action oriented ones I've seen (although admitadley, I haven't seen a lot - if anyone can reccomend some more realistic, serious shows, I'm all ears. :D )

    Respect.

While we're at it, we can go for a season 3 and beyond.

Again not so much a remake but I'd love to see Hunter x Hunter continued. I hated the look of it at first because it looked too much like a "kiddy" anime but man did that series draw you in!

Got quite a few in mind actually:

    - Rurouni Kenshin
    - 3x3 Eyes
    - Mospeada

RK has always been to me, the anime that got me into anime/manga. I'm hoping a remake would pave the way to RK Figmas or Revoltechs or such.

Yeah, season one blew my mind with not only the concept and execution (leading me to buy the only mangas I ever owned, outside of the battle royale one I bought alongside the novel), but also an english dub that... actually may have been as good as the original Japanese (much as I'd have loved for it to have been dubbbed in Italian, I think that might have been too much ;)  ).

I was disapointed to see season two loose the softer art style which I thought was so appropriate to the tone of the show. Still yet to buy it, in all honesty (just seen afew eps on youtube), it'd feel off to me after loving season one so much. Is it worth it anyway, do you think? I loved the way the first season was so morally ambivilent about it's content, just focusing on the character's relationships and the growing sense melancholy around the kid's eventual fate's - I don't think I've seen enough of part two to get a feel of it either way. I'm eying it on Amazon right now, but I'm not sure I want to splash that kind of cash on something I'm not sure I'll like. (Besides my own personal art tastes and perhaps overblown resistance to change. :D )

The English dub is stellar. I'd put it on a par with the original Japanese track, at the very least. There's a German dub floating around somewhere; who knows, there might be an Italian one, as well.

Don't bother buying the animated Season Two. Just read it in book form (volumes 3, 4 and 5), and let the moving pictures in your mind supply the animation.

Would Digimon count? If so they should do a completely new season of Tamers.
