Not really all that much to say about him. It's the voyager Optimus mold, but clear. The only parts that aren't molded out of a clear plastic on the main figure are gears and a few joint pieces. Part of the body that was molded in black on the original and painted over red is now painted a solid red.

I'll also get it out of the way right now since you'll see him in this post, my US voyager prime is missing the yellow headlight paint applications. Yes, it sucks.

The armor looks pretty damn nice on the clear prime, but that hammer it comes with looks terrible. There's two slots in the hands for the tabs on the Magnus Hammers. The small one tabs in one, and the large one from Ultra Magnus tabs in the other.

Put on the US voyager prime, and given the proper Magnus Hammer, it looks really good. the shiny armor parts don't clash with the matte plastic as much as you would think they would. The Magnus Hammer is too heavy for him to hold up, unfortunately.

What about the deluxe prime? the armor is supposed to go on him too, right?

(ah, camera focus, you suck. I retook this photo so many times, and it always turned out bad. time for new camera)

The arm parts go on fine, they use standard sized pegs. The backpack? I'm sorry to say that it's just balancing on him there. I can't figure out how it would connect, and I think that they would have had to do some remolding on him in order to get it on.

I like him. Cheapest clear optimus I've managed to get my hands on, and it added something cool to my Animated display.

Kudos on your patience. I can't wait 3 months. (Or longer, if Protector is delayed further like most FP products.) Hell, I can barely wait the few more days until Hothead or Unicron should be in stock.

The clear Prime is pretty nifty. I'll hopefully get this at some time.

Got mine today. Clear Prime has some sloppy yellow paint applications, but my regular TakTom Voy Prime has the same weak yellow paint so no surprise here. Other than that, he looks nice without the armour parts on.

Armour add on is a nifty idea, but I found myself not liking the huge arms much. I think I might do without those.

The wing and the launchers are awesome, they look great on regular Prime, too :D  As for the "Stormbringer" hammer, I am glad I read the review first, otherwise my expectation might have been too high. It is fine as it is.

Harbinger, looking forward to seeing a pic of clear TFA figures :)  I had to let go of my SoC set, so.

I paid for mine a couple of days ago and should be getting it this week. I may sell the clear Prime though. I basically bought it for the Wingblade parts and $65-$70 is a lot to spend on this set.

Got mine today. Quite pleased overall, though mine has a rather looser waist and some sloppy paint aps on the yellow on the hips and on the left forearm wing.

Overall, quite glad to have it, my Animated Collection would've felt out of place without it.

    Pros:
    * Wingblade armor looks great attached to Voyager Op.

    * Works with either Voyager and (partially) Deluxe prime toys, but looks better on the voyager. (apparently the deluxe toy was going to be remolded somewhat for the Hasbro release)

    * Spring-loaded hands can hold either the included hammer or the one that came with Ultra Magnus

    * "crystal" Prime mold looks quite nice.

    Cons:

    * Wingblade armor looks better matched to the solid color toy (Hasbro or Tak-Tomy) than the clear one. Only an issue if you have no other Voyager Op toy though.

    * There seems to be some fit issues. It can be tough to get the back snapped in, especially with all the wing-pack parts attached, and the hammer falls out of the hand easily.

    * Gravity is not this toy's friend. The arms flop around with the added weight of the gauntlets and hammer, so best to make sure you have tight joints in the arms (especially if there's any other Op toys you might use.

Overall: It is what it is, and you either want it or don't. At least you get a neat-looking translucent robot to go with the armor, as opposed to a straight repeat of something you might already have.

There are two sets of grooves in each gauntlet hand. The one near the thumb is meant for Leader UM's hammer and the one in the finger portion of the hand (near the middle knuckle) is for the smaller hammer. If you slot it in the right groove, the mini-Magnus hammer should fit in nice and snug.
