So here's the deal. I have £40. That's the price of a leader here.

Should I get Leader Megatron or the Safeguard twins?

    PROS for Megatron-
-He's the leader of the Decepticons.
    -He's big and bulky.
    -My current Megatron sucks ass.
-If I get Safeguard I'll have £20 left and that £20 will haunt me forever that I didn't get the leader and instead opted for more Autobots.

    PROS for Safeguard
-They maked broken Russinglish, as to capture this badness bot! (lulz)
-There's two of them and they can combine!
-I don't have enough of the Elite Guard.
-Apparently Megatron's legs aren't good for posing.

And no I'm saving for later with other money so I have no use for the £20 Safeguard gives me.

Megs is pretty cool. The Twins have alot of character, but in their bot modes only. Their plane mods are meh, their combined plane mods are bad, but they shine as single robots. Safeguard seems bulky too, and his entire back area seems like a WTF-mess. Megs is nice. Also, I'd recommend getting Blurr.

I hate safeguard, its the worst Transformer out of my small collection due to its inability to be nice and tight when transformed, it barely goes together well.

Argos have Leader Megatron for £22. So buy him from there, use your remaining £18 to buy Safeguard from Play.com. Problem solved.

Don't get Leader Megatron because he sucks. Get Magnus or Bulkhead instead, they're both much better toys. The jet twins are ok, nothing too great.

Leader Megs is awesome well worth £20. If I had to get something else for £20 it would be Blitz or Grimlock. Saleas are coming up though mate so don`t jump just yet :thumb

Sledge's suggestion is best (very well done sir!), but alternatively, Toys R Us have Leader Megs + Activators Screamer for £19.99 and Jetfire/Jetstorm for the same price, plus the Robot Heroes for free. So you could also get other figures as well, though you would need to find £4.95 for postage...

Ah, touche sir. I tend to forget about TRU because I haven't got one locally. If that's an option, that would be the way to go.

Damn brits with your internet shops with free p+p and your feckin Toys'R'Us throwing cheap toys at ye! I have to find a shop that stocks them, then wrestle a big sweaty guy called Seamus before I can pay a perfectly inflated price for a toy thats been hiding under piles of the worlds peg warmers. /jealous neighbourly grumble

But from the options, I'd say your laughing man, wow, you guys are really able to stretch those pounds these days. Toys'R'Us sound as though they're the best bet now, nice extras with them. Of course if anyone gives you a better option I'll change my opinion like the fickle sheep I am.

Oh and I hope you enjoy them.

May save up a few quid and head up north for a bit of a spree.

Of course you could go into the shop - cheers Sledge (oops didn't even think of that...). I was thinking Internetweb only.

Oops. Is it really that bad in Ireland? Blimey. We were planning a holiday as well...guess I wouldn't be spending on TFs then. Damn, would have to spend my hard-earned moolah on non-essentials like food, drink, accommodation, etc.

ide get megs first...complete the decepticons,,,youll have more bad guys and the twins are still relatively new, so you wont have to worry bout them selling out of them before selling out of megs, because he is "older"

If you can find a Toy Stop - they have leader BH or Megs at £20 each.

Right now, you'd be a fool to spend full whack on leader Megs.
Can be found at half price.

And get Lockdown if you haven't already!

Wow! I never expected to see all of these replies! What a friendly community. TFs are awesome.
I have Lockdown, Blitzwing and Leader Bulkhead already guys! Sorry for not mentioning my current collection for reccomendations. I have-
Deluxe Bumblebee, Prowl, Ratchet, Jazz, Sentiel Prime, Swoop and Snarl.
Deluxe Soundwave, Lockdown, Blackarachnia and Oilslick.
    Voyager Optimus and Wreck Gar.
    Voyager Blitzwing and Starscream.
    And Leader Bulkhead!
    Wow. Big list.

Wow, all these halfprice situations! TRU sounds my best bet. I have one near here. Hopefully they'll be in stock. I have never heard of the others, though! XD
Thanks for all the ideas. I'll be very happy with the new sets. Although...

Which is better, Safeguard or Swindle and Blurr?

How long do you think until Blurr and Swindle are in Smiths nationwide?

I don't have Swindle or Blurr (yet), but I do recommend Safeguard. Yes, the figures don't work as well as they maybe could, but they're good fun and have a feature that nothing else in your collection has. That uniqueness counts for quite a bit in my view. Kinda like RID Landfill: maybe not the most successful combiner, but worth owning simply for being different.
