Does anyone else wish the animated voyager optimus just transformed instead of having that stupid gravity spin gimmick that makes it a pain to transform back to vehicle mode?

Definitely. I hate the thought of potentially grinding gears every time I transform him. I plan to do some video study of all the reviews that have been done on him in an attempt to cut down on that problem.

Yes I do. I broke the gimmick the first time trying to tf it back into truck mode...but it was retarded anyway so I really don't care.

yes i meant nevermind. I watched your video on youtube and it surely helped. Thanks for showing me how to not break it because i agree that its a great fig and highly accurate. Although i wish it had the autobot faction on his arm.

That's actually not my video, my YouTube is EvangelionUnit13

It seems really stupid that they don't have a symbol on his arm. Hasbro finally decided they were using too many faction logos and cut back, but cut back on the wrong character

I knew about the method in the video (minus the waist to the right part) and it works like a charm. No gear grinding, no horrid clicking, and the spin conversion works without fail.

Prime's still a great figure, even with that goofy gimmick.

odd I used manual fold my Prime back into truck, and I still can transform it back and forth even when I reverse spin.

Mine transforms fine. I actually think the gimmick's really cool and an awesome way of incorporating his spinny legs transformaion of the show.

that's hilarious. I didn't even know this gimmick existed until my friend pointed it out to me. I was just transforming him manually from truck to bot and back. I thought the clicking was normal. Oh well, thanks for the link.

Well, yes - but why should we be having to keep fixing things that should be there already?
