Definetly, yes. There were a bunch still at the Toys R Us in Ontario last time I was there; that'd been the first time I'd seen him in stores in awhile.

 

I think he looks cool. I haven't picked him up. I saw him once. He was a returned item. Looked like someone threw him at a wall as hard as they could.

I definitely want to pick him up (when the money is available...) to complete my Elite Guard. I need him and Blurr - have Jazz, Sentinel Prime, and the Jet twins.

Incidentally, it occurred to me - someone could repaint the Jet twins into an animated / classics Darkwing and Dreadwind, maybe. Just a thought I had.

 

It's been digibash. I'd prefer they be repainted into pre-fuzor Rack and Ruin.

 

I just realised that completely inadvertantly and without trying I've managed to pick up the complete Elite Guard

 

Easily the best leader size in TFA universe. Easily. Really one of the figures in the entire line, actually. I like the "Roadbuster" version too. The 2 Magni make up the bookends of my TFA Autobot shelf. --- The Roadbuster version looks awesome w/ the Roadbuster Target exc. figure that came out last yr. The colors are the same as well as some of the artillery action. awesome.

Is Anim Ultra Magnus worth it? Hell Yes!!

Combine the 'guns popping out all over' awesomeness of movie1 Leader Brawl, with the awesomeness that is Ultra Magnus, toss in a dash of Thor's Hammer, and you've got the kickass Animated Ultra Magnus figure!

(also he feels almost like a Classics/Universe figure in that all his joints are tight and ratcheted. A very sturdy, solid feeling figure. Again..........awesome.)

some people don't like the shoulder joints. Personally they never bothered me, I don't notice anything odd about them.

 

They're fine as long as his upper arms are pointing down.

Raise his arm to be parallel with the floor and you'll see right away what's wrong- his wrist will be even with his face.

Imagine him trying to punch someone but his fist is where his elbow should be. It makes it look really short.

That's because his shoulders might look like they're normal, but the actual joint where they're attached is actually a couple inches back from that.

Ultra Magnus is pretty impressive looking as long as you don't raise his arms.
