    Hopefully, the ad on Sunday will reveal the content. I'm all for bonus TF:Animated, but if it's just another episode, then I can just wait for the Season 1 DVD set in August.

    I guess we'll see...

    Yep, first three episodes which won't be included on the Season 1 DVD Boxset. So, if you want the entire first season you have to buy this and the boxset being released in August.

    Unless you wait a while after the release and you can get it pre-owned for less than $10.

    Thanks for clearing that up for those of us that have no clue. Anyone know how much for the season #1 and #2 DVD sets?

    No price given yet, but I'd expect it to be around $24.99 to $29.99 given the amount of episodes. Also, it will depend on how many discs the episodes get put on too. But, that's my guess.

    I think Target.com and WalMart.com have the first season up for pre-order at $19.99. As for this DVD I will have to try to go to Target next Saturday and hope they still have it.

    I already pre-ordered it at my Blockbuster. Guess I'll have to cancel it and go across the street to Target. I had to do the same thing when the 2007 movie dvd came out. Target ended up having that transforming case for their 2-disc set.

    That'll teach me.

    It has to do with the production numbers when the series was ordered.
    Initially it was 2 sets of 13 episode seasons, and a mini movie.
    So while the mini movie does count as eps 1-3, it really was ordered as a premiere movie. Though after looking at how they handled the JLU sets, I'm rather surprised it wasn't handled similiarly considering it also had two seasons ordered but then slammed together as one on the dvd release.

    Cause I could see them doing that, movie dvd, then a one volume season set.
    But I guess they want to milk it a little bit and have it as 3 volumes so far. I can live with that so long as it's not mushed together as badly as other toon dvds have been. ^^;;

    How annoying. I pre-ordered the movie DVD thru Amazon about an hour before this was reported.

    oh well.
