I got Animated Swoop, and I have some issues with it.

    1. his left piece that forms his chest and shoulder does not stay up against his beak and just flops back down.

    2. The center piece between his wings does not clip onto anything on his back. I see pegs on his shoulders, and two holes on the back piece, but they don't line up. Anyway to fix this?

How well that stuff fits together varies somewhat from toy to toy, but make sure the notches in the front insides of the chest pieces line up with similar bits standing out from the beak, and squeeze the halves together in back to help the tabs line up with the slots in the wing-backpack.

Yep, tried that a number of times. The back part just pops right off one of the pegs when I do that. QC on this one stinks.

Yeah, you might have to exchange this one, I have 2(one for me and my son) and both are fine. Feel for you though, hate opening a figure only to find out its screwed up(looking at you Movie Fracture)

I got a really bad one from Heero, but then he sent me a replacement one so now I got stuck with two Swoops. lol.

Yeah quality really varies from figure to figure.

Nuts I'm having the same problem with the Ani:Swoop I bought the other night.

He was the only one there though, so no returning him.

*sigh* for every 30 I get that are fine, I get a clunker. Oh well.

Yeah, this is the first Animated figure I've had a problem with. And I got it as a gift, so no receipt. If I get another, I hope I don't have the same problem again. I'll be p*ss*d. Swoop has always been my favorite Dinobot.

Can sympathise, my first Swoop ( a pre-release) had a good back, but had a fall-off robot head.

My Swoop's head does that too, but I can live with it since it isn't too bad for mine. Guess I'll just have to find another one and use the one I have now as cannon fodder... ;)
