    funny story.
this bot was originally a 5$ junker i bought at tfcon last year to keep the wee one busy.
it started life as a animated 2pack battledamaged prime.
during this build i kept refering to a piece of artwork by "gryphman",of the deviantart boards.(
    sacrificed include
    animated 2pac prime
cannons from a k/o undersized victory killbison
bits lopped off from the front thrusters of a gijoe nightraven
    wings taken from a vintage robomachine/gobots leader-1
    k/o undersized g1 jetfire/robotech front cockpit half
k/o deluxe classics mirage front vent sides x2
cd case slivers for new head antenna's
    zoids battleturtle vents x2
    bionicle?big arse silver sword
rare earth magnet(stiffens his transformation in alt mode)
i tried to keep the mods to his legs to a bare minimum, just incase i plan to do a victory leo in the near future.
his stock head was ground down, along with the funny collar that prime had which prevented his head from turning left to righ once you push his neck right down.
i decided to keep 4 out of the 6 wheels he originally came with, reason being is they kinda look like vtol type fans to me.

the concept by gryphman i was refering to

close up of his blaster/cockpit and sword.in order to make it fit his hand properly,it was heated with a torch, then squished/expanded.

thanks, and as for a tutorial, unfortunately the only pic i took during the build was just before he had his wings added.
if it helps, the only pieces you need to remove from prime to start building starsaber is his chest winshield chunk(one long pin)
,his bot head cover/alt mode light bar, both arm mounted smokestacks and his two outermost wheels on his legs in bot mode.
clip off his truck mirrors on his arms and sand down the remaining slag from clipping.
in this pic,you can somewhat tell what piece goes where and it kinda shows how he transforms.the jet cockpit piece is essentially mounted by a round peg shaved down into a rectangular shape, which in turn plugs into the slot that holds his waist together in bot mode.the magnet goes between his ankles on the inside, thus stiffening and helping to hold him in alt/jet mode.
the k/o classics mirage vents are the white chunks on his shoulders.the vents are normall one piece, but just seperate them with a pair of side cutters and some sand paper to finish them off.the gijoe nightraven vent chunks are the translucent pieces joining the shoulders and arms together.
you can also tell from this pic that everything is drilled and machine screwed together, the only thing glued is the magnet to hs inner heel/ankle
hope that helps a bit.(if you try your own and get stuck, help is but a pm away:D

    thanks!!

lolz, thanks, but i think i'll be keeping him,and leo's also been on my to do list too.that's the reason the legs received the least amount of modding, less to rework later on if need be:wink:

    thanks!!
    thanks,and me too or a liokaiser:drool:
